Working at the Fed

Well, it has been over two weeks since I began working at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Let me tell you, I love it! Everyone here is fantastic and extremely nice. It's a great atmosphere to work in and I see lots of opportunities at this institution.

I go on my first bank examination the week of Halloween, so I'm fairly excitied to see firsthand what I will be doing out there. It will be in Richlands, VA, which is in Western Virginia.

All in all, I have met a lot of people and made some new friends and think that this was probably the best move I could have possibly made for myself.

Oh and I almost forgot, I am going to VCU on Thursday to be on a Jobs Panel to speak to students about getting their first job and what it is like at the Fed. That should be fun. I know I'll get a lot of questions because all the Economics majors want a job here!
